Broadway Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with New "My Broadway Story" Videos

New York, NY - September 19, 2019 - In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month The Broadway League released nine new "My Broadway Story" videos starring an all-star cast of performers and theatre lovers. "My Broadway Story" is a video series in its second season featuring performers discussing the importance of representation and involvement with Broadway. The new videos star Lin-Manuel Miranda and his father, Viva Broadway Chair Luis Miranda;Kate Del Castillo; Mandy Gonzalez; Rodney Ingram; Javier Muñoz; George Salazar; Sergio Trujillo; and Ana Villafañe. Viva Broadway is also celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a previously announced cabaret style concert series titled "El Conjunto" hosted by Ana Villafañe (On Your Feet! and NBC's "Sunnyside" and "New Amsterdam") at the W Living Room Times Square (W Hotel, 1567 Broadway) with special guest performances from Broadway stars and musical direction by Justin Ramos. Remaining performances are onSunday, September 29 and Sunday, October 13. Performing at the September 29th concert will be: Margot Bingham (HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" and NBC's "New Amsterdam"), Ana Isabelle (West Side Story directed by Steven Spielberg), Bianca Marroquin (Chita Rivera in "Fosse/Verdon", Chicago), Samantha Massell (Fiddler on the Roof), Genny Padilla (On Your Feet!), and Luis Salgado ( In the Heights, On Your Feet!).
