Broadway celebrates New Jersey residents with buy-one, get-one-for-$17.87 tickets, exclusive NJ TRANSIT deals, and special dining offers

New York, NY – September 24, 2025 – The Broadway League is proud to announce the first-ever New Jersey Night on Broadway, taking place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. In 1787, New Jersey became the third state in the union. In 2025, it will be the first state with its own dedicated night on Broadway. On this special evening, New Jersey residents can experience the magic of Broadway with a revolutionary ticket offer, exclusive transportation savings, and dining deals throughout the Theatre District. Each participating Broadway show will add its own unique twist to the evening to make the celebration Garden State–worthy.

NJ NIGHT ON BROADWAY is a first-of-its-kind deal for a one-of-a-kind state. And because New Jerseyans know a good thing when they see it, this is a one-night-only opportunity not to be missed.

Getting to Broadway is easy with buy-one, get-one-free NJ TRANSIT tickets available through the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App. The special offer ensures New Jerseyans can travel to and from the theatre district with ease and affordability.

A minimum purchase of two tickets is required. The face value of each ticket reflects half of the total of the full-price base ticket plus $17.87 and is inclusive of all fees.

NJ TRANSIT customers using the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App can “Buy One, Get One” to bring a friend by purchasing four one-way tickets between the same origin and destination using the code NJNIGHT!

  • Offer code valid through Thursday 23rd October
  • The code is valid for use one time per customer per account.
  • Tickets purchased using the code are only valid for travel between 1pm Wednesday, October 22nd and 2am Friday, October 24th
  • All four one-way tickets must be activated on the same day
  • All tickets purchased using the promotion code expire and must be used by 2:00 a.m. Friday October 24th
  • To take advantage of this offer, customers must use the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App!

To purchase tickets using the special offer, download or open the NJ TRANSIT Mobile App, and:

  • Set up a ticket account in the app
  • Tap “Buy Tickets” and select your mode of travel, Rail or Bus
  • Select your Origin Station and your Destination Station in New York City
  • Select 4 One-Way tickets and tap “Proceed to Checkout”
  • Enter the promotional code NJNIGHT
  • Tap the payment method of choice and purchase the tickets
  • Tickets will appear in the My Tickets section of the app
  • Activate the ticket before boarding the train or bus

Tickets are not transferable, and there will be no refunds. Not valid for travel to/from Newark Liberty International Airport, SEPTA or Metro-North Stations. This offer cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or discounted ticket (Senior, child, customers with disabilities, military, etc).
