KELSEY GRAMMER TO HOST BROADWAY ON BROADWAY® 2010....Sunday, September 12th at 11:30am

Kelsey Grammer, Tony®-nominated star of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of La Cage Aux Folles and five-time Emmy Award winner, will host Broadway on Broadway 2010 (www.broadwayonbroadway.com) on Sunday, September 12 th at 11:30 a.m., it was announced today by The Broadway League and The Times Square Alliance. Presented by Hue Leggings and Continental Airlines, sponsored by The New York Times, with the official travel partner Travelocity, the annual free outdoor concert at the crossroads of the world brings together stars and performances from current and upcoming Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the new Broadway season.  Times Square will be a big block party with tens of thousands of attendees. This kickoff to the 2010-2011 Broadway season stretches from 43rd to 47th Streets and fans should arrive early for a good spot.

In addition to La Cage aux Folles, Kelsey Grammer has performed on Broadway in Othello and Macbeth and as Professor Henry Higgins in the New York Philharmonic's critically acclaimed concert performance of My Fair Lady.  He will host the show featuring appearances and performances by stars from upcoming productions including: The Addams Family, American Idiot, Billy Elliot The Musical, Chicago, Elf, Fela!, In the Heights, La Cage Aux Folles, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Memphis, Million Dollar Quartet, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Phantom of the Opera, Promises, Promises, Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles on Broadway, Rock of Ages, The Scottsboro Boys, West Side Story, And More! * All appearances are subject to change.
